Gaden Shartse Dokhang Khangsten is one of eleven houses or schools in the Gaden Shartse Monastery. This particular house has endured difficulty in recent years and is in need of urgent assistance to restore it. Of particular necessity is a prayer hall and dormitories for the monks. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has offered support to the monks and blessings for the tour.
